Baby You Got The Juice

Happy Monday beautiful beings! I hope your weekend was amazing as mine. If not, it'll definitely get better. Trouble don't last always. Maybe this will cheer you up, guess what? We had the pleasure of seeing Goodie Mob reunite on stage at Monticello ATL. Those men were far ahead of their time. It's crazy how something they rapped in 95' is still very much so relevant in 2021. It's the depth of the lyrics for me. The energy was through the roof and they have some new heat coming too. Major shout out to Cee-Lo for stopping by our table, kicking it with us a bit. It was a memory to last a life time. We had so much fun!! You have to take time to enjoy life. You feel me? Enjoy the fruits of your labor. We are not put here to just work, pay bills and die.

Aside from my vibes being on lit lit, I had the pleasure of working with Prizims Events and photographer John John. This is such a dope, inspiring team. They had me blushing and crying. Well they didn't have me crying lol. I got super emotional seeing the vision come together. I started thinking about how far I've come and how blessed I am to be here. God continues to show up in my life and I'm so thankful to be connected to that energy dwelling within me. I'm so thankful for these beautiful souls that are constantly placed in my path.

Every year I continue to get better and better. Each month I grow stronger and stronger. Each day I become more and more grateful. This morning I looked at myself in the mirror and said, "girl you got it." I spoke this to every cell in my being and I felt it all throughout my soul. Sometimes we can be our own worst critic. I have definitely had my fair share of self beatings. It was a long way from when I used to stare at the mirror saying I hate myself. It felt so good to face that mirror today and affirm what I now know to be true.

I encourage you to do the same. Affirm it! Instead of thinking about what you don't have or where you haven't been, give thanks for what you do have and where you are in this present moment. It'll make all the difference. They say gratitude determines your altitude. That's all I have for today. Remember, you got this!!
